Appleton House is located in Lee, MA, in the heart of the Berkshires only 8 miles from Tanglewood.
It is a large Italiante Victorian home built in 1868 formerly known as the Charles Child House. Period details abound throughout the house and each room features wide pine floors, original moldings, rosettes and lighting fixtures. The house is completely updated and fully air conditioned. It is graciously furnished. You will find the Appleton House Inn a comfortable place to relax and enjoy during your stay in the Berkshires. And of course we serve a full homemade breakfast. We have a small dog (Woody) and two cats (Shadow & Snickers) who will greet you with a warm welcome to our home. The Appleton House has gone green! We feel very strongly about being environmentally friendly. We try to recycle, reduce, reuse and conserve to do our part to keep our earth green. |
